This diner practically raised me. I have countless memories there. My parents and my sister and I have eaten here thousands of times I don't live in New York anymore, but I do miss it. I used to know every employee that worked there. This place is like Townhall. You can't go there without running into someone you know. It was a staple in our lives. I can not imagine it not being around.

My mom and family friend chose to eat here for lunch. It was a long time since my family moved away, but this was in my childhood neighborhood so I have a feeling of nostalgia being back. That aside, this is a classic diner interior - actually quite a big space and tons of seating. The menu is a classic diner menu (super big that makes you confused what to order because there are too many options that all sound good!!) Service was satisfactory here. No one too friendly but things were served on time and they attended to our needs (more napkins, etc). The food was good - I got a tuna sandwich and my mom got a burger. Our favorites were honestly the pickles. All of us got coleslaw and pickles on the side with our meals, and the coleslaw was good + pickles were excellent! This is a good spot to get some good food and catch up with old friends in the area!

Came here twice when visiting family and we had a good time-- the food comes out quick, service has been quite friendly for NY, and our orders for a big group have always been spot on! It's definitely not a shiny or new environment, but it has a nostalgic diner feel without being dirty. For diner food, I think their food is tasty~ giant pancakes, greasy hash towns, thick French toast pieces-- the classics! Great place for variety~ obviously not the healthiest spot, but Celebrity Diner is a fun place for some memories!

Good neighborhood diner. Wasn't too hard to get parking in their lot and easy to get a table for dinner. Food and service were good... Been here before for lunch and back now for dinner. Big menu with lots of choice to food from - you can have breakfast for dinner too. They even have a bar and desserts as well. Started with crackers while waiting to decide on orders. Food came our really quick.. Beverages: soda, egg cream and ice cream soda Entrees: Tony Danza (Burger) Deluxe, John Wayne (Burger) Deluxe, California burger deluxe, and beef gyro pita. All served with french fries. Wow, the burger and buns were huge and a lot of fries. the burgers came with 2-3 rings as well. Cole slaw (a bit dry and bland) and pickles (yum) came with the order as well. Was too full for dessert... Would come here again for any meal.
